YOU'RE GONNA LOVE Reykjavik
Highlights:
- Architectural Icons: The skyline is defined by the Hallgrímskirkja church, whose design mimics the cooling of basalt lava columns. On the waterfront, the Harpa Concert Hall dazzles with its honeycomb glass facade that captures the shifting Arctic light.
- Geothermal Culture: Life here revolves around the water. Local geothermal pools like Laugardalslaug are the city's true social hubs, where residents gather in steaming outdoor baths regardless of the freezing air temperatures.
- The Creative Heart: Laugavegur is the main artery for culture, filled with independent boutiques, record stores like 12 Tónar, and street art that turns every corner into a gallery.
- Maritime Soul: The Old Harbour area has been transformed from a functional fishing port into a trendy district featuring the Reykjavik Maritime Museum and boat tours for whale watching or hunting the Northern Lights.

Stefano
Located on the fourth floor of the building, it offers a beautiful view of the city. Popular with young people, it offers mostly drinks and limited food options. The interior is very welcoming and feels almost like home. I didn't sleep in the hostel, but only drank at the bar.
