Central, beautiful, renovated! Affordable… perfect for people looking for a super central location. You can walk everywhere and public transport is just around the corner. Very safe and busy streets. Supermarkets and restaurants are very close. I got a private room and it was great! Super spacious, clean, and very cozy. I didn't hear any noise during my stay. They have a safe in the room. I highly recommend it… the breakfast was very complete! It had everything you could need. Special thanks to Mimi at reception! :) from the Canary Islands.

The location of this hostel is fantastic; you can walk everywhere. There are restaurants, supermarkets, bars for drinks, and even more nightclubs nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds could be a bit more comfortable because they are a little thin, but they do come with a duvet and pillow. I stayed in a female dorm with eight beds, and it was very nice. There are shared bathrooms with another female dorm, and they have four sinks, three showers, a makeup area, and two vanities with mirrors. They also have a shared kitchen with refrigerators, which is great, and they organize activities in the afternoons to meet other travelers. It's definitely a good place to stay, especially if you're traveling alone.

A really, really nice and clean hostel!!! Kai is an incredibly friendly employee at reception, and I was especially pleasantly surprised by the price! :)

I suppose when you read reviews, you're interested in knowing both things. For the price, the hotel is okay. I can't be too picky knowing the service I'm paying for isn't luxury, but there are some things I can't overlook. Cleanliness is very important to me, as I'm not looking for luxury but rather cleanliness. I stayed in a private double room. While everything else looked clean, the bathroom wasn't. The shower floor was covered in limescale, and the grout between the wall and floor tiles was black. The shower gel was bad. While I was showering, the dispenser opened, and there was a pubic hair in it. The glass in the bathroom door is incredibly unhygienic. I understand that cleaning can be difficult because it gets dirty easily, but it's clearly not being cleaned regularly. The room was generally acceptable. Some furniture was dirty, but nothing serious. There was no central heating; both the bathroom and bedroom heating were faulty, but there was an external heater. The room has a smart TV, which is a big plus. Breakfast was also good; it had the basics. Perhaps they could add more fruit. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. In short, for the price and its central location, I would stay there again.

Everything was clean, organized, and had a great vibe. Mimi was super kind and attentive when I arrived, and the rest of the staff were always very polite and friendly. There are always events and activities to meet more people and learn about the city.

We loved it! It completely exceeded our expectations. Incredible value for money. Large and comfortable room. Spacious hotel, good breakfast buffet, with many services such as laundry and luggage storage upon check-out. Excellent location. The staff were very friendly and attentive, from the first to the last. Hanni was a great addition because she spoke Spanish and was able to answer our questions with great kindness.

Very friendly staff, you feel very comfortable. It's a mix between a hotel and a hostel. There's also a kitchen for self-catering, which is a good way to save money. Very clean and, despite its central location, very quiet. We'd gladly come back.

Excellent service, also grateful for the attention of the attendant Yas from Argentina.

The reception staff were super friendly, especially Honey🫶🏻 You can store your luggage after checking out, which helped us a lot!

A true highlight in Budapest – pure hospitality! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at Maverick Budapest Soho. Since it's a hostel, we were initially a little worried it might be a bit chaotic – but the opposite was true! We were more than pleasantly surprised. I've taken the time to summarize everything in as much detail as possible! The team: All the staff were extremely polite and helpful. No matter what time it was, we were always greeted with a genuine smile at reception. Room, food & parking: The room was surprisingly spacious, but apart from the cool TV and the beds, it didn't have much to offer, but for the few days we stayed, everything was perfectly fine. The breakfast buffet was great, there was nothing to complain about there, and the secure parking was a huge plus for us. The location: Simply perfect! You're just a few minutes' walk from the heart of the city. A small note: Since the hostel is located in a very lively area, it's quite noisy outside. It was fine for us, but it's good to know. Special thanks: On our departure day, we had car trouble and I had to pick up a rental car at the airport at short notice. Since check-out was at 11:00 a.m., I asked the reception for a 30-minute extension. Without hesitation, they gave us two extra hours! Even though we didn't end up using them all, just knowing that was there was incredibly reassuring. That's definitely not something you can take for granted! Conclusion: Budapest is a beautiful, diverse city with very lovely people. On behalf of my family, I thank you most sincerely for everything. This wasn't a goodbye, but a long-awaited reunion 🇭🇺

This hostel is definitely the best I've ever stayed in on all my travels. The dormitory was extremely clean, as were the bathrooms. The staff is very attentive and professional. The bed in the shared dormitory allows you to have space to store medication and skincare products, which is excellent. I have nothing but praise and recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Budapest!

We booked and checked in spontaneously on Sunday. The staff was okay, but could have been more professional and friendly at check-in. Check-out was friendlier. The reception area was a bit messy. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the courtyard, as we had requested a quiet room. The bathroom was large. The hotel is centrally located, surrounded by restaurants, etc., and about a 10-minute walk to the shopping center/arcade or the Danube. The Christmas market looks fantastic and is definitely worth a visit! A Danube cruise is also great! The room was clean and adequate for our needs. Two large and two small towels were provided – excellent! The bed lighting was good. The TV had Netflix, etc. Unfortunately, there was no kettle, which should have been included in our room booking. Breakfast is available outside the hotel, which we knew but wasn't important to us.

An exceptional experience that completely exceeded my expectations. The female dorms are on the ground floor next to reception, which adds an extra layer of security. Comfortable bed, everything clean and private. The kitchen has everything you need (they offer free coffee and tea) and the shared bathrooms are on the first floor. The staff is lovely.

I loved the place. Everything was very clean and organized, the staff are very friendly, and the hostel is cozy. My stay included breakfast, and it was well worth it; the options are plentiful, and the products are high quality. Breakfast is served in the restaurant. I recommend it and will return many more times.
