WOT Ericeira Surf Hostel

We loved our stay and were very well received by Luana! The breakfast was good and the room was too. We loved it! The only thing that wasn't so good about the room was that the emergency signal was green and left a lot of light in the room at night.

I really enjoyed staying at WOT Hostel! The atmosphere is great, everything is clean and organized, and it's easy to meet new people. The staff is fantastic, especially Luana, Mafalda, and Naïma, who were incredible, always helping and making the stay even better. I would definitely go back!

My group of friends and I stayed one night while on a road trip. Luana was very kind when she greeted us, and it felt very welcoming. The hostel has a really cool vibe, the rooms were clean, and the people were very friendly. Highly recommended!

The space itself is very lively and has a great vibe. The staff is undoubtedly the most polite and fun I've ever seen! The pizza nights with sunset views make it easy to socialize and relax after a day at the beach or pool. There were days when I didn't feel like surfing, so I just had fun in the garden area they created for surfing on the wooden ramp… I simply loved it. Good vibe, comfortable, fun, and super clean. I've stayed in many places, but Wot Ericeira made me love Ericeira even more!

It was the best experience possible!! From the name WOT Ericeira Surf Hostel, which catches the eye of anyone seeking the surf vibe, to the entire structure. With a beautiful view of the sea, nature, and pets to make everything even more perfect!! Right at reception, I loved the vibe of the girls Luana and Daniela, super friendly and very helpful. I loved meeting the entire hostel team, everyone was always attentive and polite, providing a perfect atmosphere for the already wonderful environment. Thank you all and see you soon. I highly recommend it. And Luana, thank you for the little surprise on my birthday, mobilizing everyone, you were incredible and the days I spent with you were wonderful.

An incredible place, with a view that looks like a hand-painted picture. It was quite cold, but where in Europe isn't it cold? If you don't like walking, it might seem like a chore, but for me, the moments of meditation along the way to the market were well worth it. I'll be back soon! Excellent place to spend a great vacation with friends. The hostel exceeded our expectations: the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, ideal for meeting people from all over the world. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the common areas are spectacular. And a special mention for our friend Oscar who gave us the warmest welcome. As well as for the eccentric Jack who opened the doors to his world to us.

I chose this hostel because of the good reviews, but if you're sensitive to noise, I wouldn't recommend it. I stayed in a private room and unfortunately I could hear absolutely everything from the floor below, including people passing by in the hallway making noise and doors closing; there's no noise cancellation whatsoever. The guests really didn't respect the quiet hours, despite the 10 pm rule. The location is a bit far from the center of Ericeira, about a 30-minute walk, and only 5 minutes from Praia Sul beach. If you have a car, it's very close. The hostel's facilities are good, it has a swimming pool, a skate park, and even a volleyball court. The staff were generally nice.

This hostel has a truly unique vibe. The house is beautiful, spacious, and bright, with plenty of stylish spaces for relaxing and a delightful view. The garden room is charming, minimalist, and cozy, clean, and has an equally unique vibe. The staff is also always very helpful. Definitely a service worth recommending.

The surf hostel has a pool table, table football, a pool, a barbecue grill, a small skateboarding area, and direct contact with the surf school. Information about surfing and skateboarding spots is available. It is also a 4-minute walk to Baleia or Sul Beach, where the water is very clear, as are many of Ericeira's beaches. Perfect hostel for solo travelers. There is a lot of interaction between staff and guests. The rooms are large and comfortable. The atmosphere is very good, with a pool, skate park, game tables and a nutritious breakfast. The staff is great and always willing to help.

I booked for only three nights and ended up staying at Wot for almost two months, it was home and I come back whenever I can! The environment is well organized and the staff is super welcoming. Whether you travel with friends or alone, you will always find some activity to do with someone to share your time with or the space to have your privacy and enjoy the view!

We spontaneously needed accommodation late at night on March 3rd. At 11:00 PM, we called the WOT Ericeira Surf Hostel and were greeted warmly by a gentleman. He told us that checking in at that hour was no problem and that it was possible until 2:00 AM. We were able to park our car safely at the hostel without any issues. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist. The price offered to us was the same as on the website. We booked a private "Garden Double Ensuite" room with two single beds for €70 per night. The room was rather minimalist and lacked storage space for clothes, towels, and other belongings. However, the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and we had a peaceful and restful sleep. Breakfast and drinks were quite expensive (relatively speaking, for Portugal). The hostel has a pool, a beach volleyball court, and a small skate park. Inside, there was a pool table and some couches and seating areas for relaxing. Outside, there was also a ping-pong table. You certainly won't get bored. Checkout is until 11:00 AM, but the lady at reception was kind enough to tell us there was no need to rush (we were running a bit late). I found the price a little high for a hostel, and it was the same as a regular hotel. So far, it's also been the most expensive accommodation on our Portugal trip. Therefore, I'm deducting one star for the price and the room amenities.

I had a wonderful stay at the hostel. The place is very pleasant, with a common area perfect for socializing, playing, or even working. The welcome is warm and attentive.

The hostel is situated on a hill, offering breathtaking sunset views. The outdoor area provides ample opportunities to relax. The volunteers and staff are (almost) all very friendly, motivated, and helpful. The clientele is diverse and relaxed, making it easy to make new friends. While the hostel's activities are advertised, no one is pushy about it, which is very pleasant! The rooms are bright and modern, which I appreciated. However, the prices (especially in peak season?) are quite steep, and I don't think they offer good value for money. The room (a private double room) has no space to put your suitcase or store your clothes (just a clothes rack with five hangers, no wardrobe or shelves), so you're essentially forced to use all the furniture as closets. There's no soap at the sink or a hairdryer, and the toilet door used to have a lock, but it's broken off. The shutters could only be fully opened or closed; otherwise, they flapped in the wind. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Overall we had a really nice, relaxing stay, but I don't know if I would book it again for that price.

My son recently stayed there with his class. They had previously stayed in a different place that was awful. But once they moved in, they were thrilled. The room was lovely and clean. The location was perfect, with a sea view. The staff were very friendly. The pool was great. You could play volleyball, billiards, and table tennis. And the hammocks outside were fantastic. The three days were truly wonderful, and the surfing was a lot of fun. My son would go back in a heartbeat.
