Pros: Very pleasant atmosphere New Year's Eve dinner and beach party Hospitable and polite hosts Well-equipped kitchen with many refrigerators Pleasant surroundings, relaxation area Double room – simple but adequate Clean bathroom and sink area ➖ Cons: No table inside the room, which made it difficult to use on rainy days It rained during our stay and the table area was outside The bathroom ceiling started leaking during the heavy rain Could have been better prepared for bad weather Summary: A pleasant stay thanks to the hospitable staff and the atmosphere, although the rain made it a little uncomfortable.

The hostel is right next to the beach, which is great for that, but it's farther from the airport than we expected. We arrived very late, but check-in went smoothly. Everyone was very friendly and helpful; we wanted to go back, but it was full.

I was simply looking for the cheapest hostel on the island. The rooms are large and generally clean. They have bunk beds without partitions for privacy. The showers and toilets are also clean. The kitchen is shared by everyone, as are the refrigerators. Each person has their own compartment. I would describe the hostel as quite alternative (politically left-leaning). There are many volunteers there, and at night, everyone sings and plays music together. Marijuana is also constantly smoked. Several cats roam freely around the hostel. The reception is open morning and afternoon. Towels can be rented for a fee. There is nothing in the town itself, just a beach. For grocery shopping, etc., you need to go to the neighboring town (about a 20-minute walk or 5-minute bus ride). It's great for the price if you have a car or motorbike to get around. It's not suitable for families or couples; better for solo travelers without high expectations. It's perfectly adequate for sleeping, which was exactly what I planned to do, as I would be out during the day. There are many Germans in the area, but basic English skills are still recommended. The Wi-Fi is free and super-fast.

First time staying in a hostel at 61 years old. I was a little apprehensive at first, but the price was a major factor. And, in fact, it's been a fantastic experience. I've met people from all over the world, including many younger than me 🤣, but it's been great. The hostel is clean, very clean indeed, and the staff is amazing 👏. I stayed in a dormitory, but everyone was very respectful and we got along well. The showers and bathrooms are spotless, high standard. There's no queue to shower in the morning. I'm loving it.

It has everything you need. Great atmosphere. Group activities like dinner, sunrise tour, fire show, and live music. Everything is very clean, well-maintained, and professional.

I stayed here for 5 days and had a great time. The location was very convenient for visiting most of the island's tourist attractions. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the common areas were organized and clean. I hope to return in the future!

Always a great welcome at Los Amigos, I've stayed there many times. The staff is amazing! Always clean and tidy, kudos to the cleaning staff, spotless showers and bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen available for use, tea and coffee available all day. The beds are comfortable, but the pillows not so much 😅.

Excellent hostel, courteous service. Good customer service. Clean kitchen, bathroom and toilet. - Be careful when parking your car nearby. The garbage collectors arrive very early and parking badly can ruin your vacation.

I'm very happy with my stay. A quiet place very close to the beach (walking distance). The hostel is beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff is very friendly. The bus station for both directions to La Maretas is very close. Very happy, thank you very much.

I had a great time; I slept in a mixed-use room for two days. There are plenty of bathrooms, separated from the showers and sinks, so they were almost always free. The pool is small but functional, and the overall atmosphere was very chill. In the evening, they cooked dinner and offered a variety of activities (for a fee). There's also an airport shuttle service, but I honestly didn't use it because I was traveling by bike. They let me store my bike inside in a safe place, so it's definitely a bike-friendly property. The location is convenient for getting to and from the airport; there's a bus stop nearby, although I mostly got around by bike. The prices are competitive.

After changing hands under the umbrella of NEST Hostels, LOS AMIGOS has managed to preserve the old spirit that characterized this cozy establishment from my first visit. Some details in the bathroom facilities have been improved; they are more spacious, cleaner, and have fewer malfunctions. Communication with the management team is friendly and straightforward; help and support are always offered. The hostel's WhatsApp group keeps you up to date on upcoming activities (barbecues, cooking, hiking, jewelry making, etc.). The proximity to the airport is extremely convenient and less noisy than expected, as the flight paths are not overhead. A quick tip: bring a padlock to use the lockers in the bedrooms.

Very nice and well organized hostel to enjoy Tenerife. They organize many evening events and it is easy to meet people if you are on holiday alone. Very relaxed atmosphere, just a little out of the way: if you are without messengers it could be difficult to reach supermarkets etc.

It was my first experience in a hostel and it was really positive. From every point of view I can only have good memories. Cheap, clean, large outdoor spaces and helpful staff. It remains a bit isolated from the nightlife but much better this way...and then there is the bus stop a stone's throw away

The hostel was in the south, and I had to stay in the north. Edreams listed it first, so I opted to book there. I shared a room; I would have liked a single, although the experience was pleasant and reminded me of my roots on an island completely foreign to my homeland. The staff and service were excellent, as was the place where hearts and souls danced to the sound of the sunset. Although on this trip I enjoyed island roads and wanted to explore the whole island, I only went there to sleep, but it's advisable, and friends are always there.

I traveled from Austria to Tenerife in 2020. This was my first encounter with the islanders, but it was extremely positive. So I decided to extend my stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and almost directly on the beach, so I could easily impress a lady or two with a spontaneous date by the sand dunes. This accommodation was a true experience. In summary: clean, cool people, and always something going on. And the surrounding landscape is breathtaking. Therefore, a clear 5 stars!

A quiet and very beautiful place to spend a few days on the island. The quiet and restful time is respected. The common areas are pleasant. The bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful; however, we lacked a more technical orientation when it came to answering questions about our excursions. We didn't like the breakfast; we had to supplement with food from the supermarket. I recommend it!

Super friendly welcome, we had two young babies and the staff were really attentive, super accommodating. :) everyone was super smiley Warm atmosphere, impeccable toilets and shower Perfect breakfast In short, at the top. Great to start a stay in Tenerife.

I had never been to a hostel. I must say that as a first experience it was very satisfying. Very nice structure and maximum attention to hygiene, especially in the bathrooms and common areas. In the rooms everything depends on the guests... The staff is very helpful and attentive to the customer, they offer an excellent breakfast and the use of the kitchen. Just outside the structure there is the bus stop, very convenient.

Beautiful building, very clean rooms, and friendly staff. In low season, you basically have private rooms; in high season, you might feel a bit cramped. It's close to the airport, but not too close to the beach. Vending machines for drinks and food are available. The kitchen is small but well-equipped, and breakfast is included in the price. The shared outdoor areas are lovely, with sofas and armchairs, some of which are covered. There's also a very small pool.
