YOU'RE GONNA LOVE Dublin
Is it's a sample of whiskey you're looking for then the Jameson Distillery won't disappoint. Branding a tour of the 228-year-old Jameson Distillery as hip, edgy, and fun is no simple task. Some would argue it’s as difficult as two Irishmen going to the pub for one drink – impossible in a culture where buying rounds is second nature! This tour is well worth the visit, and not only for the tasting session!
A trip to Dublin would not be complete without a visit to the Guiness storehouse. As your introductory tour guide may inform you, Guinness is not in fact black. It’s actually a really, really dark shade of red. The simple ingredients are Hops, Barley, Water and Yeast, and you get the best taste by smelling, swirling, sipping and swallowing.
Your first Guinness sample comes midway through the tour and is the perfect appetite whetting, lip licking precursor to the full pint at the end in the Gravity Bar. Got a taste for it? Then don't miss Temple Bar with its famous live music scene.

The hostel surprised me in terms of cleanliness. The previous week I had stayed at another hostel in another country, which was very good, but the cleaning wasn't very frequent. When they did clean, they didn't always clean well. Since I stayed at Jacobs Inn for a long time, I saw that the cleaning staff came to the rooms every day, both to change sheets and bedding for people who had left, and also to clean the bathroom inside the room. That's the second very positive point: having the bathroom inside the room. You can't use it all the time because there are many people to share, but it's already great not having to leave the room every time you need to use the bathroom, brush your teeth, or take a shower. Besides the bathroom in the room, there was also one in the hallway. The hostel's location is also very good. It's very close to Connolly train station, there's a Luas bus stop on the corner, and there are also bus stops that go to the airport very close to the hostel. Checkout was super quick, just let them know and leave.
