I stayed for two nights, December/January, in a girls-only dorm from the 31st to the 2nd, and in a private room from the 4th to the 5th. The dorm room was clean and spacious, with a trunk for luggage. However, on the evening of January 1st, the number of girls increased, and it smelled a little strange 😅 They should try to improve the "air" (a euphemism for cleanliness). As for the private room, everything was fine. Overall, the spaces were comfortable, clean, and safe. The bar didn't have many food options, but the atmosphere was very pleasant and lively, with reasonably priced beer and other liquors. Breakfast was adequate for the low price, with several drink options, cold cuts, cereals, and fruit. The bathrooms were very clean and smelled nice, and they had hair dryers. One point for improvement would be adding lockers to leave important things while you shower, or failing that, a small hook in the showers. They are spacious, so things really wouldn't get wet. - Extras: They have lockers near reception - Space to leave luggage, and if you still have more days out but have already checked out, you can still leave them for free! - Service: Every person at reception was super friendly and attentive; I'm a bit absentminded on vacation since I just want to relax, and the staff helped me at all times with minor issues like leaving my key card in the room, always with a smile and a solution. The next day I had already booked a room in a higher-priced hotel, but the attention from the Euro Youth staff at reception, service, bar, and breakfast was so pleasant that I ended up booking an extra night in Munich and decided to add an extra night at Euro Youth!!! This time in a single bed ^. ^ The only point that could be improved is that; Other hostels sometimes organize activities to help guests bond, like karaoke. I think this would be a great option for everyone, especially the shy ones. Even if it were a paid activity or you could participate in some kind of team-building exercise or game by buying something from the bar, it would be fantastic. It's a service I would definitely pay for. Another important point I saw in a previous review is that they mentioned "the street and surrounding area were dangerous." My feedback on this is as follows: - Getting there is a bit tricky if you exit through the wrong station door, but once you find your way, it's very easy to get to. It's next to a main train station, malls, and many other shops. Double-check which exit you're leaving from; you shouldn't have any problems. It's a 3-5 minute walk once you're out of the station. - On the night of the 31st, I decided to go out at night to explore (9:30 PM). It was a bad decision. The whole street is filled with men (you can tell they're not locals). There isn't a single woman alone, and I understand why, since just a few steps from the hotel, some men bothered me. I ran to take refuge in a restaurant. Honestly, I tried to walk around the street, but the men's stares were so intense; you can imagine how scared I was. I ended up taking a taxi back a block away to avoid running into the same men. The next day, I arrived at night with someone, and the extra night I was out at night too, and the atmosphere wasn't the same; this time it was safer. I can infer that on some big festival nights, the atmosphere around the area after 9:00 PM isn't the best for a woman alone; but on any other date, the surroundings are quite safe. This isn't a complaint about the hotel by any means; just a recommendation for girls who are out alone. If you're going out very late during the festivals and you see something strange on the street, it's best to stay inside and enjoy yourself. If you're in a group of at least two, I think there wouldn't be any problems going out. ^ . ^ Summary: I recommend staying at this nice hostel ^ . ^ Due to the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas, the location, and the price!!! A total success!! If you book more days directly at reception, they have special offers

A great hostel, both for the staff's attentiveness and for its location, right next to the station and a 15-minute walk from the main square. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are very clean. Plus, they offer a free drink and activities at the bar. We were eager to get the breakfast buffet, which cost approximately €7.

A clean and friendly hostel offering dormitories and triple/double rooms. Ideally located just steps from the train station. The staff are quite friendly and the common area is welcoming. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The shared bathrooms and toilets are spotless. The atmosphere is quiet. The only slight drawback is the noise of the room doors slamming at night. A little soundproofing would be appreciated.

Good value for money hostel. Comfortable room with a large closet for luggage. It has a bar with very good prices and offers a fairly comprehensive paid breakfast. The area isn't very nice, but it's very close to the city center. It's not a 5-star hotel because I think the bathrooms could be in better condition.

I was looking for a place to stay at short notice and was pleasantly surprised. My single room was large, clean, and equipped with a sink. The furnishings were basic, but everything you need is there (including towels). The showers and toilets were the cleanest and most spacious I've ever experienced in a hostel. Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy, but not a big deal. Excellent value for money in Munich.

We've been traveling and staying in hostels for two and a half weeks, and this one has been the best. We booked a private room with a shared bathroom (the only private room of the trip) and we were very comfortable. Everything was clean, the room was well-designed, and the hostel was well-located (a 4-minute walk from the main station and close to the Old Town). Plus, the luggage service is free, secure, and available before check-in as well as after check-out. The self-service laundry works well, and the prices are reasonable. We don't normally participate in hostel events, but on Mondays they have trivia at the bar; we loved it (and we won some beers, haha). There's no kitchen, but there's a Lidl next door that lets you get at least breakfast and a snack without spending a lot. We'd definitely go back!

Very close to the center, clean rooms and friendly staff. Cleanliness in shared bathrooms could be improved.

Nice hostel in the center of Munich. A flaw I found in the rooms is the total lack of signal, while for the rest I was very satisfied. As for the location, nothing to say. Not even 5 minutes from the station and the center.

Ideally located, a stone's throw from the central train station and close to all amenities! The staff is very welcoming and professional (with the exception of two not very friendly waiters!). The rooms and shared bathrooms are clean and well maintained (we were in a female dorm). The beds in the dorms allow for pretty good privacy and are comfortable. Overall a good experience!

I definitely recommend it. As it was my first time traveling outside of Brazil, accommodation was one of the things that worried me the most, and I certainly recommend this hostel. The staff are attentive and helpful, especially Marcelo, also Brazilian, who is very kind and a good person.

Beautiful hostel 1 km from the center. We booked a double room, and the cleanliness and quietness made all the difference. We arrived even though it was 7:30 in the morning and check-in wasn't possible, they let us leave our backpacks so we could begin our visit to Munich. What surprised us and made us happy was a glass of mulled wine :) As soon as you enter, on the right is the common area where you can have breakfast or just grab a beer.

This hostel isn't particularly expensive, but it's convenient. It's just steps from the train station, the metro, and many bus and tram lines. It's a 15-minute walk from the bus station. The restrooms are clean, the rooms comfortable, and they offer a good breakfast buffet for €7 per person. In the evenings, they put on entertainment in the bar on the ground floor. It's not particularly cheap, but it's convenient and practical.

Nice, clean, and comfortable but also quite expensive. The single rooms are simple but practical and spacious. The staff is extremely friendly and there is a luggage storage available. Personally I found the breakfast good although perhaps a little basic (pretzels, bread, cold cuts, eggs, cereals and drinks). Very central location from which to move easily on foot. As mentioned the quality/price ratio is perhaps not the best but the stay was more than pleasant.

Great hostel! The staff really thought of everything to ensure a memorable and comfortable experience. I loved the curtains on the bunk beds, the bathroom is well-equipped, the bar serves beer for 2.70 (a great price for Munich), and the breakfast, at 4.90, is very good. It's very clean. It's in a good location (near the central station), with many restaurants nearby. I highly recommend it.

The room is very good, the bunk beds have curtains and there are shelves to put things on. The bathroom was the part I liked least; there's no space to put things when showering. On the other hand, the shower is good, but you have to keep pressing the button every 30 seconds. The breakfast is very good! There are many options of cereals, juices, coffees, breads, etc. The bar at night is very lively, always with many interesting events for those who want to make new friends! I liked it!

My stay lasted for 3 nights and EYH was the best hostel I stayed at in Europe during my 15-day trip (I also went to Prague, London, and Amsterdam). They have a pub, a great staff, excellent accommodations, and the best breakfast. If I go to Munich again, I will certainly choose Euro Youth Hostel for my stay.
