YOU'RE GONNA LOVE Nice
Its climate and geographical location makes it the perfect destination pretty much any time of the year: in winter it's a short journey to some fantastic mountain peaks for skiing and snowboarding, and in summer there's tons of water sports and hiking to enjoy.
But if relaxing or typical sightseeing is more your thing, Nice doesn't disappoint. Take a relaxing stroll along the Promenade des Anglais, visit the Nice Cathedral, or indulge in some of the best cuisine in the south of France. No matter how you decide to spend your holidays in Nice, one thing for certain is that you'll leave with incredible memories!

Much better than the nightmare promised by previous reviews and photos (even those on their own website)! Maybe it also depends on the people you meet there... I stayed in room 106 for one night, a 6-bed female-only dorm, with 2 other very discreet people. The room was well appointed and we had more privacy than I feared from the photos on the website. The bedding is quite good and the sheets were clean. On the other hand, you must not be too heavy and be agile enough to get into the bunk beds (it makes the bed move a bit when you get up otherwise ^^"), it remains quite rudimentary. I take off a star in comparison to hostels which now provide more intimate pods/capsules and to the noise in the corridors after midnight which are not regulated... In terms of security, there are surveillance cameras everywhere but I did not see any agent. The bathroom was clean and large so accessible for people with reduced mobility. Make sure you have a padlock if you want to close your locker because they sell them for €8.50, more than half the price of the room!!
