YOU'RE GONNA LOVE Lagos
Lagos isn't just about the beaches, though. You can participate in a range of activities, such as surfing, kayaking, hiking, and so much more. Top spots include the world-famous Benagil caves, swimming at Meia Praia and Praia Dona Ana, or watching the sunset on the cliffs at Ponta de Piedade.
After a long day of relaxing on the beach, you'll have plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from as you prepare for a night out! Whether you're interested in some of best seafood the Algarve has to offer, traditional Portuguese dishes, or something international, we can assure you that you'll find it here. And if you want to party, Lagos delivers! Home to a range of great bars, the party never seems to stop, so don't be surprised if you don't make it home until the morning.
You can really experience it all in Lagos!

The hostel has a great location near both the beach and the city. The beds were very comfortable, and the shared activities (like pub crawls) made it easy to meet other solo travelers. During my visit in November, the hostel wasn't too full. However, there are very few toilets and showers for the number of beds. While the sanitary facilities are clean, they are showing their age. I would definitely stay there again, though.
