This year of traveling is almost over, and it’s time to look back! We have made a recap of our 5 most visited cities in 2023. Let’s take a look at what we have experienced together this year. Starting with cities that have won travelers’ hearts over…

1. Paris, Paris, Paris

Of course, topping the list of the 5 most visited cities in 2023 is the ever charming, Paris. The city where history meets modern chique. When in Paris you can walk for hours and enjoy what it has to offer. Here is something for everyone’s taste, starting from exquisite architecture, plenty of museums, and art masterpieces, ending with mouthwatering cuisine and rich wines. Our travelers choose to stay at St Christopher’s Paris Canal, located near one of the must-see spots in Paris, Montmartre.

2. Amsterdam

As the second most visited this year is the city with an artistic and vibrant vibe. Amsterdam is undoubtedly a favorite place for many visitors. It is known for its progressive culture, with a wide range of experiences to try. If you are looking for a party, this is the place to be! Go enjoy the night on your own or find some fun company by joining the Pub Crawl. Not interested in a night out? No problem, Amsterdam has a lot to offer! Full variety of coffee shops, museums, and walking areas. Oh, just watch out for cyclists, they are everywhere, but a great way to get around. 4. Copenhagen

The capital of Denmark and hygge lifestyle, Copenhagen may be also one of your must-visit places. Travelers choose it to experience the aura of a well-developed and modern city. As well as Amsterdam, Copenhagen is known as the biking capital, it is all about sustainability and a green environment with many things to see and places to be. 5. London

Last but not least, is the city where everyone can find something for them. London offers experiences through the full range of spectrum. We have been working hard on the ESG Committee throughout this year. An Environmental, Social, and Governance Committee (ESG) matters within an organization. The aim is to establish an interactive and cooperative platform that enables our Famous Hostels to initiate and advance on their sustainability journey, networking of challenges and success along the way. We are looking forward to improving & traveling as green as possible!

New hostels join our family

Alongside creating a more sustainable environment, we have expanded in Europe by welcoming to our family four new hostels.

A very warm welcome to another hostel in Portugal’s southern region – Casa D’Alagoa, located in Algarve’s region capital city: Faro. Faro acts to connect our Portuguese hostels to our Spanish hostels! Making the link between Faro and Granada allows for shorter journeys between your exciting adventures!

Another two of our new members are from Italian cities – Hotello in Trieste, northeastern Italy, and Ostello Degli Elefanti Hostel in Catania, Sicily’s east coast. Trieste is located well in the north, helping to connect our cities; Venice and Ljubljana.

Moving further towards Central Europe, our new member is Hyve Hostel, located in Basel, northwest of Switzerland. Accompanying Interlaken and Lucern in Switzerland.

Looking ahead to next year…

We have some big plans already! We have our sights set on expanding to historically rich Dublin, ancient Athens, and the Balkans. Stay tuned for new cities coming your way!
