The Bulldog Hotel

It has an excellent location, about 10 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal Station, good security, and a bar on the ground floor (the noise wasn't noticeable in the room where I stayed). The rooms for 6 people have their own bathroom, shower, wardrobe, and USB charging ports on the bed, which they should check because they charge slowly and don't charge regularly, but everything else is very good.

My review is about the lounge itself, as I didn't stay there. The lounge is spacious, pleasant, and well-decorated. I liked the place. I recommend it!

The Bulldog Hotel is a very good hotel for a stay in Amsterdam. It's very well located, close to the train station and with good connections to nearby attractions. The service is excellent, friendly, and attentive. The rooms are also very modern with air conditioning and heating. All in all, a very pleasant, comfortable, and relaxing stay at the Bulldog – highly recommended.

The hotel's location is fantastic. The staff were very helpful. The rooms are relatively small, but meet all requirements. The only thing I have to criticize is the poor soundproofing.

Located in Amsterdam's Red Light District, it's just a short walk from the train station and easily accessible on foot thanks to its convenient location. The common areas are few and small, and while there's a lovely terrace, it's difficult to use when it's cold. The rooms are adequate, but storage is limited, and with so many beds, the overall space is cramped. The bathrooms were clean and fine, but small. Luggage storage is free, and there are a couple of smoking areas downstairs where everyone goes, so the lobby often smells of marijuana. Security and staff are generally friendly.

Excellent for spending a few days in Amsterdam! The rooms are very comfortable and it's located in a strategic area of the city, near the central station. The staff are fantastic!

The hostel is in a fantastic location. Close to the central station and just one block from the Red Light District. If it's your first time in Amsterdam, there's no better place. The private room (with a private bathroom) was excellent. Super quiet, clean, and modern. The towels were white and fresh. The service was very good, especially from Bimbo and Linda. Downstairs, there's a coffee shop that's perfect and convenient.

If you're looking for a relaxing weekend in Amsterdam, this is the perfect place. Just 10 minutes from the train station and centrally located – what more could you want? The hotel's name pretty much sums up its concept, and it truly lives up to it. If you hate stuffy coffee shops as much as I do, head to the rooftop terrace.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times, and considering the cost and comfort, I don't think it's worth it; the accommodations are quite run-down. However, considering the experience, the access to the rooftop terrace, and the convenience of being close to the bar at any time, it's definitely worth it! The hotel bar is incredible, one of the best in Amsterdam in my opinion.

Great location and good facilities, plus a very affordable price. There's a bar on the ground floor attached to the hotel/hostel, which is a great option for those looking to socialize. The downside is that the large rooms (12 beds) only have one shower and one toilet, and guests tend to have very unusual arrival and departure times, so it might not be a good option for those who want to rest at traditional hours.
