I stayed in a single room, and I loved it. My room was super comfortable, large, and spacious, with a view of a charming street. The hostel's entrance is a bit confusing upon first arrival, but after that, the location is perfect. Easy access to everything, including many of Budapest's tourist attractions, which I explored on foot.

The hostel is located in the center of Budapest in a period building, on the first floor. A Lidl supermarket and several restaurants are nearby. There's a bus stop in front of the building, and the metro station is just a short walk away. For those arriving by plane, the hostel is easy to reach. We took the 100E line and got off at Astoria, then walked for 5 minutes. This hostel is also perfect for solo travelers, as it has a very nice common area, and those on a budget can also cook in the shared kitchen. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also organize evenings for everyone who stays. We stayed in a private room (there's also the option of staying in a dorm) with an ensuite bathroom. The room was nice and basic, and they even offered us free water and chocolates. I recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to visit the city.

The hostel is very difficult to find, as you have to go through a courtyard that's separated from the street by a large door. The rooms are probably pretty high-quality for a hostel. There was nothing to complain about! Above all, the location is great! The staff was always friendly and helpful.

Ideal place for travellers who want to spend a couple of days in Budapest to meet people. The rooms may have some faults (a light bulb that doesn't work, a shower door that doesn't close completely) but they are generally quite clean and well furnished. The reception staff are very friendly, which contrasts with the general antipathy of Hungarians (you will experience it yourself).

Excellent location. In our case we stayed in a studio which was certainly a bit small, but for 3 days it was fine. Communication with the staff during those days was a bit poor, so it was difficult to communicate with them. However, inside the place they were very attentive. The building is spectacular, an incredible architectural work!

We stayed here for 5 nights in 5. The location is excellent and central for using public transport. The staff was very friendly, kind and extremely helpful in giving directions about life and activities in the city but also involved in organizing initiatives within the structure. The rooms were quite clean, but twice during the stay, hot water was not available and the second time, despite the good intentions of the staff who worked hard to solve the problem we reported, the situation was not resolved. Another flaw is that during the hottest days it is difficult to stay in the room and especially to sleep, due to the lack of air conditioning, as there is only a ceiling fan, which however solves very little.

Great hostel, very clean and well located. The rooms are a good size, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are very well maintained. The staff is also very friendly and there are activities organized to allow you to meet people if you want. Don't hesitate to come!

100% recommendable. Great location, beautiful building, very friendly staff. When I arrived, they didn't have my room available, and a lovely employee (Nori) upgraded me to a single room for the same price! The bathrooms were clean, and there was a video-monitored room where you could leave your luggage until you checked in. I'll definitely be back. Thank you, Nori. You rock! :)

Wonderful place, an old renovated building, the rooms are beautiful. The bed is very comfortable, as is the bathroom. It has a well-equipped shared kitchen. Something worth mentioning is the cleanliness, everything is very clean, you can always see someone going over it, checking that everything is clean. Highly recommended.

You feel safe, the cleanliness is great, small kitchen for self-sufficiency, staff friendly and helpful. The area is also very appealing and quite a lot can be reached on foot or by public transport.

I stayed in this hostel for 4 nights in a 4-person dorm. The stay went very well: the rooms are clean and the 3 bathrooms that we share with the 3 other rooms are sufficient, I never had to wait. The bathrooms are cleaned regularly. The staff is friendly and ready to help. Be careful, check-in is at 3 p.m. but there is a secure luggage storage if you arrive before like me. The location of the hostel is ideal: we are in the heart of everything! The only negative point is the layout of the reception which is not designed to allow you to meet people, a bit of a shame for a hostel, so the atmosphere was very sad compared to that of the other Marevick which is much more dynamic.

Rating for the "Hostel" category. The building is beautiful, imposing. The essential resection as befits the typology. Very friendly staff. The room on the first floor was fine, a bit small, without a wardrobe. Bathroom ok, comfortable french bed. A bit noisy outside as it faces a very busy street. Soundproofing can be improved. If you book ask for quiet rooms. The shared kitchen is very welcome. Overall recommended also thanks to a beautiful location in Budapest!

Had a great stay here. Perfect location for my needs and it was clean, modern and comfortable. Check in was done quickly, as was the check out. I expected a pretty small room considering the price I paid, but was pleasantly surprised by the fact that it was quite spacious! For those who need to use public transportation, there are several options in the nearby area. Those who prefer who walk will appreciate the fact that it is centrally located with most of the tourist hotspots reachable within minutes. There are plenty of shops, eateries and pubs in the area, and if you prefer to self-cater, there's a Lidl just a few steps from the main entrance. All in all I was very satisfied with my stay, and I would not hesitate to stay here again for my next visit to Budapest.

The building itself is an attraction: beautiful, old and exudes the vibe of Budapest. The location is excellent, close to several of the city's tourist attractions, which allows you to visit most of them on foot. I would definitely stay there again. The only point that I would suggest could be improved is to have more staff at the reception. On two occasions when I needed assistance, I had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up. But it's not serious enough to lower the rating.

The best hostel I've ever stayed at. Clean and well-decorated spaces, helpful staff, good atmosphere and large rooms. An open bar with tea and coffee makes up for the lack of breakfast (by the way, there's a very good bakery next door). Right in the center of Budapest with everything close by, including the free tourist attractions that can be visited on foot.

We were here for a short trip to Budapest, the location is just perfect, you are right on the U3 and also right in the center. The rooms are simple but modern and nice. I was very positively surprised, especially for the low price. The lady at the reception was nice and was able to give us some good tips. The only downside was that the water in the communal kitchen didn't work. Otherwise, a really good option for an overnight stay in Budapest.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, central location. If you are travelling as a couple, it is advisable to take a room rather than an apartment, as the apartment does not necessarily offer any more advantages apart from the kitchen, but costs twice as much. There is also a very nice shared kitchen, so you do not necessarily need your own kitchen in the room.

Vintage building in the heart of Budapest (on the Pest side). With subway stations around the corner, bakeries, restaurants all on the block. Comfortable beds, spacious lockers (take your padlock) and I wasn't charged for a towel. During the night I didn't hear any noise coming from the street that bothered me, so I deduced that it was a busy area during the day and quiet at night. It has an elevator, but there are 7 or 8 steps to reach the reception. So for those who are going with a heavy bag, don't be scared, because there will only be these. Large and clean bathrooms. Full kitchen. Although I only used the microwave, I saw people cooking on the stove. Excellent internet throughout the building. They have 3 PCs at the reception that are free to use, and if you need to print a document they do it at no cost. For those who got there without having exchanged the Euros, next to the building there is an exchange office.
