Hostel and Bar De Basis

We stayed one night. The room was small but clean and had a private bathroom. The staff were very calm and friendly. There's a place to eat and drink nearby. I recommend it!

The hotel and restaurant industry revolves around people, personalities, and energy. The people here are so much my kind of person that, from the first minute, I felt like they were my friends. Of course, respecting the rules, which aim for everyone's comfort. It's not my first time here, and I'll come back as many times as necessary to discover which dish stands out in the restaurant with such a delicious flavor... I need to try one after the other...

Great stay! I highly recommend it. The place is very welcoming and well located. The staff made me feel at ease immediately. There's a roulette wheel to spin upon arrival, giving you a chance to win something, a nice touch and a rare find. The room was comfortable. However, the closet was very small and only fit a few items; it wasn't big enough to safely store a suitcase. The cleanliness was reasonable, except under the bed. The showers and toilets are in the common areas and were clean. I didn't use the kitchen, so I can't comment on it. Laundry service is available. The hostel's restaurant and bar are great; I loved going there.

I ended up here by chance due to the weather (snow). I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and service of the staff, and by the welcoming restaurant (Bennies). I stayed in a small private double room with a private shower/bathroom, absolutely perfect! The only thing I can mention is that it was a little cold in the room, but with the portable heater I borrowed, it got nice and warm quickly. A fantastic place with friendly staff!

My friends and I stayed here for one night, and it was great! The service was good, and communication with the hostel was quite smooth. The only downside was that they called me at the last minute to tell me I had to rent out the extra beds in our room (we had a shared room that could accommodate several people) because there were minors staying there. I didn't mind much, not even the money! However, they arranged it very suddenly, with only four days' notice, and unfortunately, the rules didn't specify this requirement. Otherwise, they were incredibly hospitable! The rooms were lovely, and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. We arrived late and respected the rules. I mentioned it to my friends, and they took it into account. I'm delighted and would love to stay there again if I travel again!

WOW! What an amazing hostel. I love the energy here, everyone is so supportive, kind and welcoming, I don’t have a single bad thing to say about my time volunteering here. In my experience, the rooms are clean, tidy, and any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently with our wellbeing in mind. The food is incredible, and the staff down in Bennie’s are generous and always keen to get to know everyone that comes through! Definitely recommend this place 😉

For the price, you can't complain; it's very close to the city center and the staff is friendly. The rooms are basic but clean.

We, a family with two children, stayed for one night while passing through during the summer. Our room had a bunk bed and a double bed. It was a simple but very clean room. The location was perfect, with good restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast in the hotel's restaurant was delicious.

The staff is young and incredibly friendly! Sometimes I felt like I wasn't in a hostel but in a 5-star hotel, given the service. Huge kudos to the guys and girls! The whole concept is brilliantly designed, the rooms are simple but perfectly adequate, the toilets and showers are clean, and everything feels very well-designed and modern. Bring earplugs or noise-canceling headphones and you're sure to have a fantastic time! 10/10, awesome :)
