To get the best out of this city we recommend to start by exploring the city center. You shouldn't miss Basilica Cattedrale di Sant'Agata, the Greek-Roman theatre, the Fountain of the Elephant, and Villa Bellini. You can be sure that everything on the way will be breathtaking as well!
For the best views, don't forget to look at Catania from above. Free up some evening to enjoy sunset, city, and Mount Etna views from a rooftop terrace. We would suggest the Ostello Degli Elefanti rooftop bar for this activity, as it has a beautiful terrace with a panoramic view.

By far the coolest and best hostel I've ever stayed in! The location couldn't be more perfect; you're right in the heart of the city, it couldn't be better situated. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful; everyone I met was so nice. The hostel is not only uniquely decorated but also offers free breakfast every morning and free pasta every evening. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! I would definitely recommend it to everyone and know exactly where I'll be sleeping when I return to Cantania! 🥰🥰😍
