At 2060 The Newton Hostel, we focus on creating a social, dynamic and welcoming environment where travellers can connect, explore Madrid and enjoy their stay to the fullest.
Our hostel combines a modern design with comfortable spaces, including a fully equipped shared kitchen, cozy common areas, and a rooftop terrace where guests can relax and meet people from all over the world.
Our activities and events
What really makes 2060 special is the experience we offer. We organize a variety of activities throughout the week so our guests can discover the city and share experiences in a social and international atmosphere.
We have daily activies as walking tours, including the street art tour. We offer a Tapas Experience once a week and flamenco shows every night. We also organize activities on our rooftop terrace with bar, where guests can meet and enjoy a social atmosphere, including cultural exchange, beer pong, bingo nights, and more.
And of course, we can’t forget our pub crawl, running every night!
Our rooms
A room is more than just a place to sleep after a long day of exploring. At 2060, our rooms are designed for you to relax, recharge, and feel comfortable.
We offer a wide range of room options, including female only and mixed dorms, from 12-bed dorms with shared bathrooms to 8-bed dorms with either ensuite or shared bathrooms, as well as 4-bed ensuite rooms and private rooms.
Whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, or looking to meet new people, we have the perfect room for you.
Our common spaces
Head up to our rooftop, where the views are simply incredible. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of two of Madrid’s most iconic neighborhoods: Lavapiés and La Latina. It’s the perfect place to watch the sunset with a drink;you’ll be able to get a beer at the reception and from Wednesday to Saturday you’ll find the rooftop bar open, serving cocktails, happy hour deals, and more.
If you prefer a more relaxed environment, our bunker (co-working and chill space) is ideal for working, studying, or just unwinding in a quieter atmosphere.
Our shared kitchen and dining area, open 24/7, is another great spot to cook, share meals, and relax.
Every morning from 8am until finished we invite you to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and free churros on the house.
So you can start your day the right way… and live it as if it were your last.

Metro from Madrid Barajas Airport
The journey takes around 50 minutes and costs approximately 5€. You will need to change lines twice.
First, take Line 8 (pink) towards Nuevos Ministerios and get off at the last stop (Nuevos Ministerios). Then, change to Line 10 (blue) towards Puerta del Sur and get off at Tribunal. At Tribunal, change to Line 1 (light blue) towards Valdecarros and get off at Tirso de Molina. From there, you will find us less than a 2-minute walk from the station.
Bus from the Airport
The journey takes around 45 minutes and it has a cost of 5€ per person. The bus frequency is every 15 minutes during the day; and every 30 during the night.
You should take the Express Airport line (bus number 203). It’s the same to go from and to the airport from the 2060. The day service will leave you on the Atocha Train Station. From there you can either walk to the hostel, around 15 minutes; or take the metro, line 1 (baby blue) from Atocha to Tirso de Molina station where we are located.
The night service will leave you on the Plaza de Cibeles, where is best to take a taxi to the hostel, that costs around 10€.

Amazing location, the shared rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. The kitchen has everything you need. There are lots of activities every day, and it's super easy to meet people!

Excellent hostel for a few days' stay in the center of Madrid. It's in a superb location, near the Tirso de Molina metro station and just a few minutes' walk from the city center. The hostel also has several extras that I wasn't aware of when I booked. It has a spa, kitchen, study area, a terrace with beautiful city views, and a bar. They also offer various activities, such as free city tours. And in the mornings, they serve free churros with chocolate! Another plus, no less important than the rest, is the excellent service from the staff. They are all very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend it.

This hostel was clean, organized, and very well located, near the metro station and the historic center of Madrid. It offers free churros and coffee in the morning, and city tours. I really enjoyed my stay here.

It was my first time in a hostel, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. The place is very comfortable, spacious, and truly welcoming. I arrived before check-in time, and even so, they greeted me very kindly and let me into my bed without any problem. The beds are super comfortable, and the curtains provide excellent privacy, which is greatly appreciated. A nice touch: the churros and coffee at breakfast!

I stayed for 5 nights and my experience was very good. The beds are comfortable and offer privacy. Some of the lower lockers need oiling and the doors need replacing to reduce noise. The bathrooms are clean and comfortable, although the hot water in some showers is rather lukewarm. The coworking area is very useful, clean, and well-equipped. There is free tea available there. The kitchen-dining area is spacious, fully equipped, and clean. They provide coffee and churros in the morning (they could also offer complimentary milk for the breakfast coffees and teas). I didn't go to the bar or participate in any activities. I would recommend adding more bathrooms, as two per floor is insufficient. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely consider this place for my next trip to Madrid.

Excellent stay!! The hostel was very clean, the service was great, and it's very well located. They also offer lots of activities, which makes the experience even better. The staff is very friendly. I had a problem with my room at first, and Ana at reception was incredibly kind and helped me every step of the way, making sure everything was sorted out. I highly recommend this hostel and hope to return soon.

The hostel is in a great location; you can get everywhere quickly and easily, including by metro. The rooms are clean and spacious. However, the shared bathroom, especially the toilet, is extremely small. Luckily, I had a private bathroom in my room. The showers are unfortunately not good: it takes a very long time for the hot water to come through, and you have to keep pressing the button; the water shuts off again after less than 15 seconds. On the plus side, the hostel offers a lot: free churros until 8 a.m., daily walking tours, bingo or tapas on some evenings, and regular pub crawls. The staff is very friendly. I especially liked the beds with curtains. There's also a rooftop bar and a spa area that can be booked for a small additional fee. A kitchen for cooking and bicycles for rent are also available.

I really loved the hostel! It had free coffee, daily activities, and super helpful staff. It was easy to put items in the fridge and lockers, and use all the utensils simply. They also had basic items like salt, oil, spices, etc. Plus, they had a specific, quiet co-working space. You could do laundry there, which made daily life much easier. They also offered towel and bicycle rentals, and access to the spa. The biggest plus was the location, which was really, really good. And with ClassPass, I was able to go to Basic Fit, which was very close to the hostel. The Wi-Fi was very good for working. The only negative point, and it's not their fault, is that they took my sneakers, which I left outside my locker to air out. You need to put everything in the locker, and they require their own padlocks.

Well located near 24-hour supermarkets and transportation. The street is quiet and there is no street noise. The bunk beds are firm and don't wobble with the neighbor's. The kitchen is well equipped and there's always coffee available. All areas were clean.

Perfect hostel for a few days in Madrid. The hostel is very centrally located, everything is easily accessible on foot, and the metro is just around the corner. The two girls at reception were exceptionally nice and helpful. I highly recommend this hostel :)
Pia
Great, well-equipped hostel, free churros and coffee! The kitchen was also well-stocked with lots of free food. The rooms and beds were good, and even with many people in the dorm, they weren't uncomfortable. The air conditioning was very cold and on all day! Unfortunately, it wasn't adjustable… hence the one-star deduction 🥶🥶

A really great hostel. You can easily walk to many places from there. Tirso de Molina is the metro station, which is also easily accessible by metro. The beds were excellent; I slept really well. The German host, Hendrik, was even there and very helpful.
Alice Garbaccio
Easy to reach by public transportation, the staff is qualified, friendly, and very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the dedicated workspace, as well as the terrace with bar and kitchen. Excellent prices on their website.

Superbly located hostel in Madrid, very friendly staff, no matter the time of day or question. Nice room, good privacy thanks to curtains, mostly clean bathrooms. Personal highlights: rooftop terrace, Walking Classic tour with Erika – very interesting, informative, and very enjoyable led by Erika.
