Famous for their amazing services, and the best bar in town, Bauhaus Hostel is as fantastic as it is affordable. Our friendly and international staff can help you with free maps, city tips, and bicycle rentals. Choose from a range of dorms range from 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 beds, to private twin, and double rooms. Fully furnished apartments are also available if you're travelling in a group or as a family. And if that's not enough, Bauhaus is home to one of the most popular bars in town. 如何到达那里
From the Train Station:
Take bus 6 or 16, which departs every 10-15 min. Get off at the stop, 'Kruispoort', and walk over the bridge. Walk down Langestraat and after 200m, you'll find Bauhaus on the right (Langestraat 135). Bus tickets are 3€.
You can also take a taxi from the station for around 10€.
By Car:
Enter the Old City from the R30 through the old 'Kruispoort' (Cross Gate). It's the medieval entrance to Bruges next to the windmills on the city ramparts. For parking we recommend using the FREE parking spaces located by the sides of the R30 before you reach Kruispoort.

The worst: - park 3 minutes from the hostel to get free spaces. - keep your card on you to enter the room. The best: not far from the city so you can do everything on foot.

The service was very good, and the room was fine for one night. I don't think I'd choose this place for more than that. It doesn't have many amenities, but it was clean and well-located.

I can't give the service more stars because Google won't let me. As for the rooms, or at least in mine, the trunk didn't have a chain or a lid. I could have been vulnerable to theft; I'd recommend checking the trunks. They should also have a small table or something to rest your phone on while it charges at night. Otherwise, the rooms are very good.

Great hostel with good service. The rooms could be more modern, but that's just nitpicking. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Old Town's market square.

Very good hostel, great value for money! Located very close to everything in Bruges, the single room we had was located in a shared apartment. The room was simple but very clean, the shared bathroom is not very young but remains clean. The bar is also very nice and well decorated.

I spent 30 days at Bauhaus from August 2022 to September 2022. It was an incredible experience! Very comfortable place. First-class service, a varied breakfast with plenty of fruit. Karaoke nights at the Bauhaus Bar, beer tasting classes, games... Not to mention the charms of beautiful Bruges. I hope to return soon!

The facilities, despite being for 10 people, were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and included large lockers for luggage. There were also several bathrooms with both toilets and showers, which were always unoccupied. The beds have curtains, which is extremely helpful for resting and having more privacy. I liked that they offer a buffet breakfast for 8 euros, which helped me save a lot during my stay. The reception staff are friendly and attentive.

Perfect location for families, especially those with bicycles, with the possibility of storing bicycles or luggage safely in the large room provided for this purpose (paid luggage lockers). Very charming place and friendly staff. Breakfast: Very good value for money, vegan-friendly, but no gluten-free bread available.

Our double room at the St. Christopher's Inn was simple, but above all, it had a great location and was affordable. We shared a bathroom with two other apartments, but we seemed to be the only guests. Bruges itself is highly recommended! Check-in was friendly; parking is available cheaply or for free only outside the city center, and we were shown where to park. We quickly found a secure parking space a few minutes away. In the apartments, we didn't notice any of the usual hostel hustle and bustle. The reception is in an old brewery/pub and it feels very cozy. We'd be happy to stay again! The only negative: the bed frame was wider than the mattress, and you have to be a bit more careful when getting in and out. 4-5 stars!

Many thanks to the girl at the reception, she was very kind and allowed me to store my things so I could explore the city more easily! The hostel is beautiful and good will is appreciated :)

I've stayed in many hostels, and I must say that, although the rooms here are very simple, the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and guarantee a pleasant rest. Thank you for that! The restrooms are clean, and the vibe of the place is pleasant. The breakfast options, while not extensive in variety, are good in quality.

Great hostel. The pub at the entrance is spectacular, they organize super live music evenings. Nice atmosphere, highly recommended for staying in Bruges. Comfortable beds. Good rooms! Maybe the breakfast leaves a little to be desired for 7 euros, but the pub makes up for it! I can't wait to go back!

A hostel very close to the city center at a very affordable price. The rooms are clean and spacious, and everything is quiet and safe. The bathrooms have very comfortable and clean showers with plenty of room for your backpack and clothes. Hairdryers are available for a fee, as are towels. Free tours of Bruges and discounts on drinks at the bar. Recommended.

Highly recommended for a hostel. The rooms are fine, but I would have perhaps appreciated a bit more storage space. Unfortunately, the USB socket by my bed was broken. A toilet in the room would also be nice, so you don't have to open and close the door at night, as it's really loud and wakes everyone in the room. 😅 As has been mentioned many times here, there's a bar on the ground floor of the hostel, and yes, it really is loud until late at night. It would be wise to bring some earplugs. 😉 Otherwise, I have to say, everything was really fine. There are enough toilets and showers on each floor, with varying amenities. On the second floor, there's only one unisex shower, while on the first floor and ground floor, there are significantly more, including some gender-segregated showers. There are also hooks and storage space. The breakfast (€6 if booked the day before and €7 on the same day) is really good for the price. There's fresh fruit and vegetables, cornflakes, various types of bread, cheese, sausage, coffee, tea, orange juice, and even vegan alternatives. Conclusion: A good hostel where you can stay for a few nights without worry. I would come back anytime.

It's a hostel but with the money I paid, in other places I would have had a room with bathroom and breakfast included. But the nice thing is that it's close to the center, that downstairs there is a very nice pub where you can drink a good beer and listen to music until late at night. The continental breakfast for 7 euros is not bad at all. The staff is friendly and always smiling..

Reasonable prices. Clean rooms, a bit noisy at night (to be expected in a youth hostel), but overall a great experience. Convenient location and interesting pub they run on the ground floor, excellent pizza and beers

Super comfortable beds, clean rooms and bathrooms, and a great breakfast. The hostel has an integrated bar which is great for meeting new people. Very fair price for what you get.

This hostel is very good. Prices are affordable and cheaper than most places in Bruges. The only downside is the lack of a kitchen, but the bar serves affordable food for those staying at the hostel. The rooms are nice, clean, and well-ventilated. Each bed has a curtain, a light, and two outlets, which is very convenient for reading or something without disturbing others and for charging your phone without leaving it out of sight. The bathrooms are very clean, and the shower had hot water. I never had to wait to shower. To use the hostel's towels, you need to rent them. The location is quite central, a 10-minute walk from the center at most. The hostel has a bike rental service, which I didn't try. The hostel offers free themed walking tours of Bruges, which are very good. I recommend taking at least one at the beginning of your stay to make the most of the rest of your time, knowing the main points of interest. At the end of the walking tours, you receive discounts on various shops and activities in the city. You can rent lockers to store your backpacks even after check-out, and the prices are very affordable. During your stay, there's a metal box under each bed where you can store your backpacks, but you'll need a padlock to lock it.
