Capsule Hotel - Chapter Lucerne

Excellent place, highly recommended. The only downside is that when you completely close the capsule, it gets incredibly hot. Otherwise, it's impeccable, and the bathrooms are so clean they deserve applause!

I loved this place. If I return to Lucerne, I will definitely stay here again. The hotel is beautifully inspired by classic stories like Narnia, Peter Pan, and The Little Prince. And the capsule rooms are like rooms from each story. The design is creative, clean, and full of personality, with beautiful quotes from these stories written on the walls – a truly special touch. The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and youthful; the place is very clean, and the location is perfect. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and delicious. The bar is great, and one of my favorite parts was the lobby filled with books; it really feels like a place made for travelers who love stories and imagination. The staff were kind and polite, which made the stay even better. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic experience at this premium hostel. Everything is very well organized. The capsules are very comfortable, spacious, and private. The bathrooms are very clean, and there are always fresh towels available for free. At reception, Santi and Maddison helped us with everything we asked for, and they were incredibly helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Overall, 5 stars. The rooms are excellent — very clean and fragrant, including the bathroom. They are spacious and offer privacy, even though it's a hostel. The common area is also very cozy. The breakfast buffet is well worth it. The price per capsule, around €50 per night, is a great deal. The receptionist was very helpful. She helped me store my luggage, even though I had forgotten my padlock. Once again, this hostel/capsule hotel deserves 5 stars. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Lucerne.

Clean and efficient both at check-in and check-out. Towels and earplugs are provided, which is a great detail. I definitely prefer sleeping in a capsule to sharing a shared room in a hostel. Very well located and with a very friendly atmosphere.

Excellent capsule hotel! The capsules are very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is super nice and organized. It has everything you need. Small, but perfect. There is only a microwave and a water dispenser. The staff is very friendly and it's a 10-minute walk from the city center.

Everything was great. Super clean, new, and with everything you need. The capsule is small—it is a capsule, after all—but the bed is very comfortable and it's quite well soundproofed. There are lockers for luggage. The bathrooms and showers are great; they provide towels, shower gel, shampoo, and hair dryers. The receptionists are incredibly friendly, and the bar/restaurant/chill-out area is very welcoming and pleasant. A very complete breakfast buffet costs 14 CHF.

A great alternative to hotels/motels. Not only is the price/performance ratio excellent, but it's also very clean, quiet, and the rooms are very modern.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It's so modern, cool, clean, and peaceful! As a reader, I also liked the book's theme. It's very beautiful, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Oh, and it's more spacious than it looks! I would definitely stay there again! I found the capsule a little cold, although the duvet was great. I looked for where to turn off the air conditioning, but there wasn't a temperature button. Anyway, I put my coat on and had to take it off right away. The breakfast was good. But I would have liked some hot options, like pancakes or sausage, bacon, or eggs. (There were boiled eggs available, but they were cold). The staff also felt cold.

Once again, I was absolutely delighted by the cleanliness, the peace and quiet, the decor, and the relaxing accommodation at the Capsule Hotel. An affordable parking garage is right next door. All the shops, the lake, and the old town are easily accessible on foot, and the hotel feels well-maintained and safe day and night. An added bonus – you can add a day pass to Lucerne's best fitness club. Perfect! :-)

My first experience with a capsule hotel, and it went very well. The hotel is clean, quiet, and nicely furnished. All the technical features worked perfectly. The showers were clean. Breakfast was great! The only downside was the very weak ventilation in the capsules; I woke up several times because of the stuffy, stale air. I'm deducting one star for that, unfortunately.

We chose this hotel because most in Lucerne were already fully booked. The location is good; it's possible to walk there in about 10 minutes to the city center and train station. It's not very convenient with luggage, but there are buses that leave the station frequently and drop you off right at the door. The hotel isn't very large, but it's well-organized and clean. It has three dormitories: one for women and two mixed. The bathrooms are separate for men and women, and they are quite nice and clean. The capsules are quite large and comfortable. Everything is accessed with a password received at check-in. Breakfast is not included, and the price is high for the limited options. I also found the daily rate quite expensive, similar to a regular capsule hotel. If you have another hotel to choose, it's worth considering.

A convenient and useful spot near the station, perfect for short stays. It's clean and very nice. It's quiet, and everyone has their own capsule. Access is managed with codes and an app.

The location is perfect as it's very central and ideal for exploring the city. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We had a problem with Booking.com, and they resolved everything for us, especially Bruno, who was a delight. The facilities are new, clean, and modern. I had a different impression of capsule hotels, but I have to say, I'm thrilled with it. Highly recommended, and the price is great for Switzerland.

My first night in a capsule… the experience was very pleasant. The hotel is new and very welcoming. The service is excellent, with attentive and smiling staff. The coffee is superb and very well served. Plus, the location is ideal, close to everything. In short, I would gladly return to sleep or just have a coffee or a beer in the particularly pleasant restaurant.
