A great hostel if you're spending a few days in Dublin alone or with others. The bed and sleeping area are comfortable, the bathroom is clean, and there are plenty of activities and options.

Great, clean, good breakfast, super attentive staff, excellent location, quiet. It was a great experience.

There were six of us staying one night in an eight-room apartment. The sleeping capsules were comfortable, the bathroom was large with two sinks. Everything was clean, and there were plenty of electrical outlets. The reception was staffed around the clock.

It was a fantastic experience at this hostel. Unfortunately, I forgot my money belt, and when I got back home, I had a message from a girl named Diletta. She's simply wonderful; she was so attentive, spoke perfect Spanish, and arranged everything to bring it back. By the way, I had valuables inside, and everything was exactly as I left it. I highly recommend the hostel, but the service is simply outstanding.

I stayed there for two nights. For Dublin, it's really cheap, and the breakfast wasn't bad either. The staff are friendly, and the room is clean. I was there in October, so it wasn't warm, but I think it would be impossible to sleep comfortably there in the summer.

The hotel experience was spectacular for my weekend in Dublin. We were treated wonderfully, especially by Diletta at reception, and we will definitely return to this hostel!

It's very well located. Everything is relatively close and within walking distance if you stay here. They have locker and laundry services, which is a nice touch. The receptionists who checked me in were incredibly friendly. Special mention to an Argentinian girl who recommended places to visit in the city, where to go for dinner, etc. I booked with breakfast included, and it was definitely the right choice. It's very comprehensive and has practically everything you could want. The chill-out area on the ground floor is very spacious and great for chatting with people, killing time, using your computer, etc. As for the rooms, I booked an 8-bed dorm, each bed with its own combination locker (you choose the password) for storing your belongings. There's a private bathroom per room, so you share a bathroom with 7 other people. It's a bit of a lottery here; it depends on how considerate and respectful the other guests are. In short: If you don't want to spend a fortune on accommodation in Dublin and want something with good value for money, this is ideal. If you're looking for more privacy or you're worried about the other students who might touch you, this isn't the place for you.

I was extremely happy with the accommodation. The staff was incredibly professional. The reception and bar staff were very friendly, especially Josefina, who was an excellent host. She took great care of us, gave us lots of advice, and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious, have lockers for storing your belongings, and are very clean. The breakfast is very complete and delicious. We felt very comfortable.

Friendly staff, room and capsule perfectly fine, clean. No power outlet in the capsule, only USB ports, but there are some in the room. The location (supposedly) isn't all that great, but as a woman traveling alone (even in the dark and at night), I never felt unsafe. It can get very noisy as there's a bar downstairs playing music.

Being a hostel, it's really good. The staff are very friendly and willing to help, and if you want to spend a quiet night without going out partying, the hostel bar has good beer and live music on some nights. Very good.

I highly recommend this hostel. I really liked the atmosphere (it feels like a student residence, although it's generally quiet; some people are a bit disrespectful and make noise as if they were alone in their rooms, but that's their problem, not the hostel's) and it's close to the city center. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are very comfortable and nice. You don't need a padlock to store your belongings in the locker. The only downside (it's very annoying) is that the train tracks run right next door and are very noisy (you can imagine how bothersome it is at night, but if the noise doesn't wake you up, it's not a problem). I 100% recommend this hostel; it's also good value for money.

We stayed at the Jacobs Inn for a weekend in a very basic double room. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite up to par for the price, but Dublin is very expensive for accommodation. The location was good, as many places were within walking distance. We enjoyed the breakfast.

My girlfriend and I spent three nights here. The dormitories are relatively large, which is very comfortable. The sleeping pods with curtains also offer plenty of privacy. Unfortunately, it gets very hot in the crowded rooms, especially in summer. The decor is very cozy, except for the chill-out area (which is a bit reminiscent of a prison). For a city as big as Dublin, it's a nice hostel!

Great hostel! Clean, quiet and ideally located close to the center and Temple Bar (about 10 minutes), the train station and bus stops, taxis etc. The value for money is there, and the practical aspect is that all beds are equipped with USB and USB-C sockets.

A very pleasant stay, very clean and functional rooms, comfortable bedding, and quiet rooms despite the proximity to public transport. The breakfast is very good and varied for an affordable price. The staff is friendly and attentive. Positive points: the luggage storage service and the evening entertainment. Overall, a very good stay.

The hostel was clean and well-decorated. My partner and I stayed in an 8-bed dorm. The room was quite spacious, with an en-suite bathroom including a toilet, two sinks, and a fairly large shower with shower gel and shampoo provided. There were also lockers with combination locks for each bed to store our belongings. Buses to and from the airport were a 5-minute walk away, Connelly train station was a 2-minute walk, and the Temple Bar district was a 15-minute walk. The hostel is very well located if you don't have a car.

The hostel surprised me in terms of cleanliness. The previous week I had stayed at another hostel in another country, which was very good, but the cleaning wasn't very frequent. When they did clean, they didn't always clean well. Since I stayed at Jacobs Inn for a long time, I saw that the cleaning staff came to the rooms every day, both to change sheets and bedding for people who had left, and also to clean the bathroom inside the room. That's the second very positive point: having the bathroom inside the room. You can't use it all the time because there are many people to share, but it's already great not having to leave the room every time you need to use the bathroom, brush your teeth, or take a shower. Besides the bathroom in the room, there was also one in the hallway. The hostel's location is also very good. It's very close to Connolly train station, there's a Luas bus stop on the corner, and there are also bus stops that go to the airport very close to the hostel. Checkout was super quick, just let them know and leave.

I stayed two nights, the place was clean, with polite people, people from all over the world. I found the place very cool, the bar is great for killing time. It's close to everything, even in the center. I would definitely return. Negative points: On the first night a guest snored loudly. On the second night I changed rooms and the smell of the room was strong and strange.

My first hostel experience and I was completely blown away by the cleanliness, organization, reception service, the endless amenities offered, an amazing bar with delicious snacks, plenty of drinks and beers, and live shows… It's close to everything (10-15m from the pubs). The experience with my roommates was peaceful and respectful; some arrived late, others left early, always very quietly. I highly recommend it!

This hostel is well located in the center of Dublin and is inexpensive. It has markets and a pizzeria nearby and is also close to the Spire. It's clean and organized, cheap, has a well-equipped kitchen that you can use to prepare your lunch and dinner, and good Wi-Fi. A good option for those who are used to sharing rooms in hostels and want to stay in the city center without spending too much.
