Directions
- Coming from EL PRAT AIRPORT (BCN Airport): Take the Aerobus from the airport to the last stop ‘Plaza Catalunya’. When you get off the bus at Plaza Catalunya you will be in front of the Corte Ingles building (a very large department store, the size of the entire city block). Facing the Corte Ingles building with your back to the street, go to your left. Just before you come to the corner you will see a stairway leading into the metro station. Once inside the metro station, take the L3 (green) metro line in the direction ‘Trinitat Nova’ until the stop ‘Passeig de Gracia’. Now follow the directions given below for “From the Metro Stop ‘Passeig de Gracia’ arriving with the Line 3 (green)”.
- Coming from SANTS ESTACIO Train Station: Inside of the train station you will need to find the entrance to the metro. It is at the opposite end of the train station from the McDonalds. Take the metro line 3 (Green) in the direction of “Trinitat Nova” to the stop “Passeig de Gracia”. Now follow the directions below for “Coming from Metro Stop Passeig de Gracia”.
- Coming from GIRONA AIRPORT: Take the Barcelona Bus from the airport to Barcelona Nord Bus Station (final destination). Now follow the directions below for “Coming from Barcelona Nord Bus Station”.
- Coming from the BARCELONA NORD BUS STATION: Once at the Nord bus station you can either take a taxi to the hostel (not too expensive because it’s not so far from the hostel) or go with the metro. The metro stop is in the small park just next to the bus station and is named ‘Arc de Triomf’. The metro line at the ‘Arc de Triomf’ stop is the Line 1 (red). Take the train that goes in the direction ‘Hospital de Bellvitge’ until the stop named ‘Catalunya’. When you exit the train at the “Catalunya” stop you will have to transfer to the metro line 3 (green). With the metro line 3 (green) you need to take the train in direction “Trinitat Nova” until the stop “Passeig de Gracia”. Now follow the directions below for “Coming from Metro Stop Passeig de Gracia”.
- Coming from METRO STOP “PASSEIG DE GRACIA” – using the L3 (green): When you exit the train at the ‘Passeig de Gracia’ stop you need to follow the signs that say sortida (exit) ‘Arago’. As you come closer to exiting the metro station the sign will say sortida ‘Arago-Rambla Catalunya’. This will bring you to the exit that comes out on the corner of Passeig de Gracia and c/ Arago almost directly in front of the Casa Batllo. It is very important that you exit in front of the Casa Batllo. There are many exits for this metro stop and if you exit in the wrong place you will probably get lost. Once in front of the Casa Batllo, facing the Casa Batllo with your back to the street, go to your right. The first street you come to will be c/ Arago. Go left on c/ Arago. Continue on the street (c/ Arago) for 2 block, until you come to the street Carrer de Balmes. Turn right on c/ de Balmes. We are ¾ of the way up the block on the left hand side.

Excellent location, right in the city center. Super approachable and friendly staff with incredible entertainment every night. Good facilities and quality breakfast and dinner. Definitely an experience to repeat if I ever return. Special thanks to Bambu, Rocio, Mane, and Nuno!

I stayed in November and it was excellent. The atmosphere and facilities are superb, the staff are exceptional, and their interaction with the other guests creates a relaxed and welcoming environment. Nico, the bar manager, is outstanding for creating a great atmosphere, making us feel welcome, and encouraging us to participate in the scheduled activities. Just for Nicolas and the energy he brings every day... I would return without hesitation.

My visit to Barcelona was a success! Thanks in large part to staying at this place. It's well-connected to shops and tourist attractions, the staff is friendly and willing to help if you don't know something, the common areas are very well laid out and clean. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend it!

Very spacious, with communal areas, everything clean and organized, excellent personal service. It's safe, but if a guest leaves the door unlocked (I've seen this happen quite often), some belongings could be lost.

Well located, well organized, clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, we stayed in a room with a bathroom, which was very good. The lockers are also good, locked with the same key as the room. The hostel is quiet, and at the same time it has activities, which we didn't participate in. It was a good experience.

Super nice people; and a perfect location! Cool activities in the evening too! The only thing is that the showers are a bit smelly, but it's okay, so you can definitely shower!

Sant Jordi Hostels Rock Palace in Barcelona is a great choice for anyone looking for a modern, social, and comfortable hostel. The location is perfect – centrally located in the Eixample district, with many attractions, restaurants, and shops within easy reach. It's ideal for exploring Barcelona on foot or by bike. The highlight is undoubtedly the rooftop terrace with its pool. Not only does it offer fantastic views of the city, but it's also a popular meeting place for travelers from all over the world. Especially in the evenings, there's a pleasant atmosphere – perfect for relaxing or meeting new people. The rooms are modernly furnished, the beds are comfortable, and curtains ensure privacy. There are lockers for valuables and plenty of power outlets by each bed. The bathrooms are clean, regularly cleaned, and exceptionally well-maintained for a hostel. The staff is helpful, friendly, and multilingual. The professional organization of leisure activities is particularly noteworthy – from pub crawls and tapas nights to city tours. Here, the "hostel experience" is truly embraced. Overall, the value for money is very good, especially considering the design, amenities, and services. A clear recommendation for solo travelers, backpackers, and young people who want to experience Barcelona within a vibrant community.

Excellent location and flexible in every direction. The staff is super friendly. I stayed at Sant Jordi Hostel alone and within minutes of meeting lots of other travelers at the open bar in the evening, with whom I spent the following party nights. Every evening there's music in the hostel's basement, and there's an all-inclusive bar for €10, after which everyone goes out to party together. Best hostel I've ever stayed in! The rooms aren't perfect, but they're perfect for partygoers. I'll be back; I had an unforgettable time there.

The staff are incredibly friendly, open, and helpful around the clock. Sant Jordis offers a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, explore the city from a central location, relax in charming cafes, and simply chill on the rooftop terrace. I was satisfied with the cleanliness and had a wonderful stay overall. I'd gladly return :)

I had a fantastic stay at Sant Jordi Rock Palace in Barcelona. The staff are friendly and helpful around the clock, always happy to chat. Both the rooms and bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. Excellent value for money. The hostel is perfect for partygoers, as they offer free trips to bars and clubs every night. The rooftop terrace with its pool is also a great place to relax. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back.
